Will Bayley, who plays for Byng Hall in the Tunbridge Wells League, had tremendous success at The US Paralympics Las Vegas Open picking up bronze medals in both the singles and the team event.

In his singles group Will beat the world number 10 Alexander Esaulov from Russia. After finishing as runner up to Esaulov in the group Will went through to the knockout stage where three wins took him to a semi final against world number 7 Peter Rosenmeier from Denmark. A defeat over four legs left him in a play off for third place against another British player David Wetherill. Will earned his bronze medal in a close match with victory in the fifth game.

The US Paralympics Las Vegas Open was held between the 12 and 17 December 2006 and is a major world event. Will’s success at the tournament further enhances his growing international reputation.
