| 29/06/09 | The Fusion TTC Table Tennis Tournament has been changed please see the following important note from Fusion. "Due to communication problems with the ETTA we have had to amend the format of our tournament at the last minute and the tournament will now only take place on Saturday, 4th July ‘2009 as we have had to cancel the Sunday, apologies for the late advice on this but this has been caused by the ETTA’s Tournament team giving out the incorrect information to ourselves..!!! |

| 04/06/09 | Once again Fusion TTC are putting on a spectacular Table Tennis Tournament this summer at their venue In Grove Park and they are hoping to attract a very strong entry from this country and abroad, they have had verbal interest from the following top English players (Paul Drinkhall, Darius Knight and Alex Perry), they also hoping for contingents of top Polish, Hungarian, and French players to come over for the weekend, Additionally they are also hoping to have two top Chinese players who played last season, and managed to get to the semi final stage. As the prize fund has been substantially increased this season i.e. £1200.00 to the winner they are expecting some excellent Table Tennis over this weekend, please note that all spectators are welcome and entry to the Venue will be free. Hot food, sandwiches, snacks and drinks will be available on both days come along for a feast of Table Tennis. Entry Form with details of the event |

| 14/04/09 | Lewis Gray won the Cadet Doubles and lost in a very tight Cadet Boys singles final at the Cadet National Championships. There was also a good preformance from Ross Wilson who reached the quarter final of the Cadet Boys singles wher he lost to Lewis. Report from Ken Muhr. |
| 13/04/09 | Jasmin Ould and Chloe Whyte were losing finalists in the Cadet National championships girls doubles. The pair put out the number two seeds in the semi finals, Yolanda King and Tin Tin Ho 6 13 -2 10, Jasmin and Chloe were beaten by the number one seeds Lucy Davis and Emily Batesin the final an excellent performance by the couple, who had not previously played together, against the England pairing of the winner of the cadet open Lucy and the junior winner Emily. | 11/04/09 | Oliver Gunns, a member of the Kemnal Table Tennis Club won his first National Singles Title when he took part in the BATTS 1 Star Open Tournament at Harlow, defeating Christian Gibson (Essex) in the Final, 12-10, 8–11, 8–11, 11-9, 11-5. Twelve year old Daniel Chen, Kemnal’s only other competitor at the tournament, did well, reaching the Quarter-finals of the Cadet Singles, before going down to Mayur Taylor (Essex), 11-4,11-8, 11-6. |

| 08/12/08 | Jasmin Ould set a new record at the London Grand Prix when she became the first person to win the Player of the Tournament twice. A fantastic achievement as her two awards were at successive tournaments. Very well done Jas! Jas was runner up in the Women's Band 3 Singles and lost in the semi final of the Women's Band 2 Singles. In both events she lost to Klaudia Szadkowska from Poland and Jas was the only player to take a game from her. Her best performance came in the Women's Open Singles open where she qualied for the main event, and eventually losing to Sarah Wang after defeating Melissa Wright (the England Junior no.4, senior no.41) a defender 11-1 in the forth. According to Joan Table Tennis is her favourite game [outside the bedroom] at home and so she set Paris Hilton and Paul a challenge to play with the English champions. | 13/10/08 | Jasmin Ould from the Byng Hall club in Tunbridge Wells was the star of the show on day one of the Newcastle Open, the second main Butterfly Grand Prix event of the series, held in the eighteen table venue of the Eldon Square Leisure Centre, over the weekend of 11th-12th October. Jasmin played extremely well in only her fourth Grand Prix of her short career to take the Women’s Band Three title and runner-up in the Women’s Band Two. | 07/09/08 | Fusion TTC have movied to new state of the art premises at HAKA School in Grove Park this is due to the club’s current premises becoming too small for the amount of people that wish to play and practice at the club. They are now open on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday evenings from 7pm to 10pm and on Saturdays from 1pm to 6pm, the Club has also purchased 11 new tables so now have a total of 16 tables. The club will be able to offer a 16 table venue on Monday evenings and on Saturdays, and on Tuesdays and Thursday they will have either 8/10 tables available. Details of the new venue |
